1. Acceptance

By using openclaw.academy, its publication archive or subscription forms, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Independent publication

OpenClaw Academy is an independent community publication. It is not OpenClaw and is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the OpenClaw project. References to OpenClaw describe third-party open-source software and its ecosystem.

3. Reporting is not a production warranty

Articles, security briefs, repository metrics, tutorials, code, configuration examples and archived lessons are provided for information and education. Software, releases, defaults, pricing and security exposure change quickly.

• Verify technical instructions against current official documentation and your own environment.
• Test changes away from production and maintain backups and rollback paths.
• Security reporting does not guarantee that a system is secure or that every affected configuration has been identified.
• Archived articles are historical and may contain obsolete commands, versions or product claims.

You remain responsible for deployment, procurement, security and operational decisions. Use qualified professional advice where the consequences justify it.

4. Automation and corrections

Automated systems and AI agents may collect evidence, group repository activity, assist drafting and run quality checks. Publication remains subject to our editorial policy. Automation can still be wrong.

Material corrections should be sent to hello@openclaw.academy. We may update, annotate, archive or withdraw content when evidence changes.

5. Affiliate links, sponsors and advertising

Some links may generate compensation. Monetised links and sponsored material will be labelled according to the affiliate disclosure and editorial policy. Compensation does not create a warranty or recommendation.

Sponsor enquiries do not create a contract. Any accepted campaign is governed by separate written terms.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the site to:

• attack systems without authorisation;
• misrepresent our reporting as official OpenClaw guidance;
• abuse subscription, enquiry or analytics endpoints;
• republish substantial portions of original content as your own commercial product; or
• interfere with the availability or security of the service.

7. Intellectual property and external material

Original publication text, design and code examples are owned by OpenClaw Academy unless stated otherwise. Third-party names, trademarks, source material and quoted text remain the property of their respective owners. Limited quotation and linking are welcome; wholesale commercial republication is not.

8. External links

External links are provided as evidence, context or commercial destinations. We do not control third-party availability, security, pricing, terms or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement unless we explicitly say so.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, the publication and its contributors provide the service “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness or uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss arising from reliance on the site, including compromise, data loss, service interruption or financial loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. We may update them as the publication and its commercial model change; the current date will appear above.
